Role Overview
In this position, you will:
- Conceive, design, implement, and execute specific scientific experiments that contribute to the successful completion of projects.
- Collaborate with your supervisor for guidance on experimental strategies and project goals.
- Provide input on new processes to ensure robust and reliable data generation.
- Ensure compliance with protocols, guidelines, and applicable regulations in all studies.
- Design, monitor, and evaluate experimental strategies with minimal supervision.
- Analyze data, interpret results, and assess the impact on ongoing projects.
- Stay current in your scientific expertise and monitor developments in the field.
- Introduce advanced scientific methods and develop new protocols to address specific challenges.
- Represent the department on project teams and collaborate across functions.
- Author scientific reports, complex regulatory documents, invention disclosures, and patents.
- Participate in external scientific communities and take on leadership roles in department-wide initiatives such as safety and recruiting.
- Develop timelines for project completion and assist in the supervision and mentoring of team members.
Preferred Qualifications
To thrive in this role, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:
- Experience in Technology Transfer, pharmaceuticals, medical devices, and biotechnology within manufacturing, inspection, and packaging processes.
- A proven ability to analyze complex environments and offer solutions.
- Cross-functional collaboration experience and a talent for building effective working relationships.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to develop, implement, and ensure adherence to processes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including emotional intelligence and sound decision-making abilities.
- Ability to perform well under pressure, maintaining organization and teamwork.
- Advanced knowledge of GXP for Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, and Medical Operations.
- Proficiency in preparing technical reports and scientific/business presentations.
- Expertise in pharmaceutical and biotechnology equipment and familiarity with raw materials, in-process controls, packaging materials, and finished product variables.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish), with the ability to interface effectively with upper and middle management.

Educational Requirements
- Doctorate degree, or
- Masterโs degree with 5 years of scientific experience, or
- Bachelorโs degree with 6 years of scientific experience. ๐
